KABBALAH: PARALLEL UNIVERSES
You know that age-old debate about free will versus pre-determination: Do we
have the ability to change our destiny or does life unfold according to a prewritten plan?
Well, Kabbalah settles the argument once and for all.
Follow this carefully:
You decide to go to a multiplex cinema to catch a movie. You buy a ticket. You spring for a bag of popcorn. Then you sit down and watch the flick. You quickly realize it's a lousy picture. So you sneak in to another movie. This film is much better.
Think about it.
Your only free will in that situation was to choose "which" movie you wanted to experience. You had no control over the movie itself. The movie was "already" pre-determined. The screenplay was already written.
Guess what?
Life is like a movie. And reality is a lot like a multiplex cinema.
In other words, different versions of your life are running simultaneously. Right now. They exist in Parallel Universes!
The ancient mystics of Kabbalah said that you do not have the free will or ability to alter the "movie" that you are in. But you do have the ability and free will to switch movies, switch universes.
It's a bit radical but so was the idea of a Mars probe 100 years ago.
Is it any wonder that Kabbalah was considered mysticism for so many millennia? This idea of "many worlds" was only confirmed by physics in the last few decades -- some 2000 years after the Kabbalists revealed the concept.
Here's the good news: When one masters the principles of Kabbalah he then acquires the power to maneuver through many worlds. Manifest destiny, baby!
So when life becomes chaotic, dark, filled with fear, terror and pain, don't surrender control. I repeat, do not surrender control. Chill. Instead of jumping ship when the waters of life become turbulent, quantum jump to a new universe.
You see, each new universe features a progressively better movie of your life. So stop trying to change the world around you. You can't. Nor can the President. Or any other government leader for that matter. But you can change your world by shifting to a new universe where you'll encounter situations and events that are far more to your liking:
A better government.
A safer world.
A nicer version of your boss.
A happier, more contented version of "you".
Lower taxes.
Less traffic.
Fewer anxiety attacks.
It's a remarkable thing to see and experience -- the people and events in your life suddenly changing in a positive way. "You" create those changes by changing universes.
You see, it begins and ends with you. Change on the outside begins from within. Take responsibility. Seize it. Cherish it. You have that power and control. You just didn't know it, till now.
Sp grab yourself a bag of popcorn and start learning Kabbalah. You'll be jumping universes right after the first few lessons. Who says your life can't become a blockbuster movie?
SCIENCE AND KABBALAH INTERSECT!
If you’re somewhat astonished by the notion of parallel universes, relax. You’re in good company. Physicists are just as astounded by this notion, yet they readily accept it as part of our reality. In the words of today's renowned physicists:
“I hold what is called ‘the many worlds view....’In this approach,
the universe doesn't just have a single history. Instead, it has
every possible history, and all these histories are equally real.”
— Physicist Stephen Hawking
“There are indeed other, equally real, versions of you in other
universes, who chose differently and are now enduring the
consequences.”
— Physicist David Deutsch
“There are parallel "yous" and "mes" somehow existing in the same
space and time that we live in but normally not seen or sensed by
us.”
— Physicist Dr. Fred Alan Wolf
“If you apply the Quantum Theory to the universe, then you have
multiple universes being formed.”
— Physicist Dr. Michio Kaku
“In these universes, choices and decisions are being made at the
very instant you are choosing and deciding. Only the outcomes are
different, leading to different but similar worlds.”
— Physicist Dr. Fred Alan Wolf
Which leads us to the inevitable question: How do we switch movies?
SHIFTING UNIVERSES
For most people, life feels as though we’ve been trapped in the same old movie all our lives. If we have a colleague at work or a relative or friend who irritates us to no end, can we change them? The spiritual wisdom of Kabbalah tells us no.
But we CAN change ourselves!
Therein lies the key: Inner change!
When we correct our own nature we, in effect, have changed our movie.
The moment we resist our reactive desires, our selfish urges and our self-indulgent impulses, a definite and profound shift will occur, one that we will perceive with our five senses. Suddenly, the business colleague, friend or relative is a nicer version of the old detestable character. Or a difficult and hopeless situation, in which we helplessly await for the anticipated negative outcome, suddenly does a 180 degree turn and something wonderful emerges.
According to Kabbalah, you will see and experience the changes.
This does not mean that when we make a positive transformation, we immediately have the experience of being thrust through hyper-space faster than the speed of light, landing abruptly in a parallel new world. The change that occurs is seamless. Subtle. Imperceptible to our senses. But very real. You will know that your life has changed when you see the people and situations around you evolving in favorable and pleasing ways.
But remember: Don’t believe a word you read! Instead, apply it. Try it. The improvement in the quality of your life must be real and tangible.
And never forget: Changing our behavioral actions has nothing to do with good morals. The Kabbalists assure us that a direct dividend will be paid to the doer of good deeds. In other words, we benefit by the changes. (This last paragraph is so profound and critical, you should read it again, and again.)
LIFE: THE MOVIE
Every day, of every week, all of us are presented with opportunities to change the movie that is our life.
Interwoven into the events of our daily lives are certain triggers designed to ignite our reactive nature. These triggers manifest as difficult people, annoying relatives, setbacks in business, problems with health, crises in relationships or terror in the world .
These triggers are there for only ONE reason -- to give us the opportunity to transform. To behave more like the Creator, a non-reactive Force that embodies sharing and compassion.
The only time we become "true human beings", rising above the level of the animal kingdom, is when we exercise the greatest gift the Creator gave us -- free will.
DEFINING FREE WILL
Free Will means we RESIST our natural, instinctive behavior.
We let go of our long-help opinions to truly consider the other point of view.
We admit our jealousies.
We stop worrying what others think.
We stop trying to validate ourselves and raise our self-esteem by gratifying our ego.
We offer love, instead of hate, no matter how justified the hate may be.
We arouse compassion instead of judgment, even though judgment might be called for.
We awaken our right brain, if we are, by nature, left-brained people.
We awaken our left brain, if we are, by nature, right-brained people.
We embrace spirituality, if we are scientifically and intellectually inclined.
We embrace intellectualism and science, if we are spiritually-minded people.
Ninety-nine percent of the time, we never utilize our free will. We live in a purely robotic manner, blindly following every whim and urge aroused by our egocentric whims. We are enslaved to our impulsive selfish desires.
Free will begins the moment we choose NOT to react to a given external situation or person no matter how painful it might be on our pride.
That’s the gist of it. That is how we become human. That is how we switch movies.
Everything else in life is merely part of a prewritten movie script with scenes and characters designed to create conflict and trigger reactions such as envy, anger, fear and intolerance within us. The moment we Resist these primal emotions, we shift into a new movie and a more fulfilling story of our life unfolds.
GOD DOES NOT ANSWER PRAYERS -- WE DO!
Reactive people who are governed by self-interest alone never experience the miracles that occur when one truly changes his destiny by changing his own character.
When the inevitable chaos strikes a reactive individual, he prays, hopes and longs for miracles, not realizing that the miracles are awaiting him in another reality. For the truth is, God cannot change your movie.
But you can!
That’s right -- it’s up to us. It always has been. And the usual approaches won’t work, the evidence being a 2000 year old movie featuring pain and suffering. Praying to God for a miracle when you find yourself in a crisis is merely a form of reactive behavior. Is it any wonder our prayers go unanswered? The traditional concept of prayer is totally misguided.
Namely, God does not need our thanks or our praise in the form of a prayer. God does not require the worship of people.
What a corruption!
The Creator, according to Kabbalah, is an infinite, endless force of sharing, a Force whose essence is limitless fulfillment and pleasure.
This Force is always there, ready, willing and able to fulfill our every dream. All we must do is connect to this Force.
We connect to it and capture that fulfillment and pleasure every time we Resist our innate reactive impulses. (Imagine trying to pray to electricity in order to turn on the light in a darkened room? Ridiculous. You must walk over and flip on the light switch)
In that flashpoint of character transformation, we switch on the Light and we quantum jump into a new universe where life is a bit more sweeter.
The way to remove darkness from our life, and this world, is to constantly shift to better universes where there is more Light. We do that each time we apply Resistance!
Then the movie that is your life becomes a romantic comedy, or a happy upbeat musical, instead of the usual horror flick.
WHY KABBALAH?
The truth is, no one has the innate power and strength to overcome and defeat all their reactive urges and primal emotions. Any time we try to change our character or our behavior, the changes are always temporary. Soon or later, we revert back to to our old ways.
Worse, we are blinded to the majority of our negative traits. We don't even know we have them, thus, we cannot resist them and change movies.
Kabbalah empowers us with the tools to recognize, overthrow and conquer our most darkest and insensitive traits.
Did you ever see sunlight streaming through the window blinds? You see dust particles dangling in the beams of light. Before the sun shone, you thought the air was clean.
Kabbalah brings Light into our lives so that we can begin to see all the "dust particles" in our life. Once we spot them, we then can use the tools of Kabbalah to clean house. When the house is clean, we are free to bask in the warming rays of the Light.
